The Students for Life of America is a great organization that is really working to inform society about what is really happening out there.  They have difficulty getting through the media bias (a lot of their videos get pulled from YouTube for being inappropriate, when the only “inappropriate” thing in them is that they tell the truth about Planned Parenthood), but I think they’re succeeding in changing a lot of hearts.

And that’s what the prolife movement is about, right?  Changing hearts.

Anway, the president of SFLA is going to be on Hannity and Colmes tonight to discuss the prevalence of Planned Parenthood’s coverups of statutory rape, incest, etc.

Watch Students for Life of America’s undercover footage of a North Carolina Planned Parenthood covering up Rape on ‘Hannity and Colmes’ tonight, 12/5.

On December 1st, Students for Life of America (SFLA) released a video exposing a Planned Parenthood clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina covering up statutory rape of a young girl. To view the video, go here: http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/video.aspx?v=ydprvknz6U

In 2005, the parents of a 14-year-old girl filed a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio. The clinic allegedly failed to report the statutory rape of the girl by her 21-year-old boyfriend and also failed to notify her parents of her abortion, as was required by law in Ohio. In 2007, a teenage girl sued the same clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio claiming the location failed to report rape and incest by her father. The failure allowed the abuse to continue another 18 months before another entity reported the abuse to authorities. http://www.studentsforlife.org/index.php/plannedparenthoodinvestigation/

In addition to covering up the statutory rape of this young girl by failing to report, Planned Parenthood was willing to help her get on birth control without her parents’ knowledge, which would prolong the abuse while covering evidence. A clinic staffer in even said to the girl, “You can do it now,” and set an appointment for the minor to obtain birth control the following week.

Further, the clinic told the girl that anyone over the age of 18 could simply go to a drug store and buy the Morning After Pill for her, giving the girl’s rapist a tool to further cover his crime of rape.

SFLA wanted to know if this same failure to protect girls from abuse was happening in other states as well. The SFLA video shows that it is happening in the state of North Carolina.

In June of 2008, a college woman volunteering for Students for Life of America entered a clinic in North Carolina posing as a 15 year-old girl who had unprotected sex with her mother’s live-in boyfriend was in his 30s; the girl told the clinic workers that he suggested she come get the morning the Morning After Pill. According to N.C. Gen. Statue 7B-301 and 7B-101, this information was enough to trigger North Carolina statutory rape reporting laws, obligating any person who learned of this story to report the crime to authorities.

Planned Parenthood staffers acknowledged that what was happening to the girl was statutory rape and even admitted that they were required to report the incident.

However, after the visit, Students for Life of America filed a North Carolina Public Records Request to find out if the Planned Parenthood location had reported the crime. SFLA has obtained and posted documents, which show that the crime was not reported to authorities in Charlotte. To view the report from police department authorities, go here:

FOX News will air the video and interview SFLA Executive Director, Kristan Hawkins, Friday, December 5, 2008 on ‘Hannity and Colmes.’ The show will begin at 9:00pm EST.
